Meet Our CEO!

CHRYSTAL NETHERTON

Chrystal started her GraceWay Village affiliation as a volunteer. After seeing the needs of her neighbors met, she developed a strong sense of devotion to the nonprofit. She joined the administrative staff, taking on the position of Chief Operations Officer in 2020. Celebrating her 10th anniversary with GraceWay Village in 2023, the board named her their Chief Executive Officer.

“My family has lived in Fort Pierce for four generations. I knew I had to be a part of this leading nonprofit that brings light to the people! Every day I strive to bring the Lord glory by doing the work He has set before me!”

The Future

GraceWay Village is planning to expand its commitment to those in need by building a Family Restorative Living Facility for families threatened with homelessness. This facility will provide temporary housing for families as well as conduct essential life-skill training leading to self-sufficient, healthy families.

Over the past 14 years, more than 24,400 children and teens have been clothed and over 318,000 meals provided to the hungry.

GraceWay Village is an independent, Christian-based, 501(c)3, nonprofit, human-service agency.  As an Equal Opportunity Provider, GraceWay Village serves everyone regardless of race, religion, sex, or ethnicity, warmly welcoming the participation and support of all its caring neighbors.

Family Restorative Project

Meeting Tomorrow’s Demands for a Temporary Home

GraceWay Village is expanding its initial mandate to those in need. The next stage will provide a Family Restorative Living Facility. This ‘rapid rehousing,’ and restorative living alternative will provide temporary and safe housing for families and their children facing unexpected, serious upheavals to their lives.

Initially, families will be able to stay between 30 to 90 days depending on their specific circumstances. This flexibility allows sufficient time to recover from the events that had led them to this stage. They also will be assessed by the GraceWay Village professional staff to determine if additional services and an extended stay of up to 18 months are warranted, moving them into restorative care where they can improve skills and form successful habits.

The goal is for them to become self-sufficient, healthy family units.

“As we begin construction, we also must build another strong foundation: the vital support of those who acknowledge the dire need for a temporary and safe home for those families with young children and who have so little,” explains Chris Morhardt, a faithful GWV supporter. “We ask that everyone join us in this critical, humanitarian commitment. Their first step is to signal their interest by emailing us at info@gracewayvillage.com. “The next step is to keep us in their prayers of support.”

Our Supporters

An Essential Part of the GraceWay Village Family

GraceWay Village wishes to publicly acknowledge our many supporters who partner in our mission to serve the less fortunate. Their generosity nourishes the hungry and clothes children in need. During these days of the COVID crisis, when so many face their own financial uncertainty, we are especially indebted to those who have joined GraceWay Village to expand our collective commitment to those in need. We are indebted to their inspiration, along with their thoughtful acts of kindness and love.

“May the Lord reward you for your kindness.” Ruth 1:8
